So, i am new to this whole blogging thing, but i have always found myself talking to my friends and family about my interests in Beauty. They believe that i should go into Beauty Therapy, but I've only just finished college with a qualification in Childcare. So i thought what better way than talking about Beauty not only to friends but to people on here. Blogging is the new fashion for communication.
First things first, a little introduction about myself. I am 18 years old, 19 in June this year. If you haven't noticed already i have bright red hair. I will be writing a blog on my hair if anyone's interested in looking at it. I may not get many people looking but if i do then, well thank you, ha-ha.
I have many interests in Beauty, my main interests in it is Makeup and Skincare. Followed by Nail care and of course, hair care. Makeup is a highlight of my life, i started using it very young, watching the people around me using makeup, and seeing women on adverts made me more and more interested.
Since i can remember we always had an Avon makeup magazine delivered to us, obviously when i was young i couldn't read so i continuously flipped the pages to look at the pictures. When i was about 12 to 13 years old, i started asking my mum for bits and bobs (I know, young right?!) But it wasn't anything like foundations and concealers, but the little things like cheap lipsticks and eye shadows.
Now i'm older i can't get enough of the stuff, i had two draws of my bedside tables and makeup boxes underneath my bed stuffed with makeup i had collected in the years. Anyway's i sorted through all the junk i collected as a child and threw out most of the makeup that wasn't very good and i wasn't using. I now only have two draws of main makeup and a storage box underneath my dressing table.
Since then I've been interested in skincare. I am very very self conscious of my skin, I've hated freckles for a very long time and now they've faded i'm not so unsure of them but aside of that i had very bad dry skin on my face, especially on my forehead and chin. I also have Keratosis Pilaris. It's small, red pimple like spots on my arms and legs. It's not contagious and it's harmless, but it just looks horrible. So skincare to me is important. But that's another Blog!!
Wow, that's a huge first blog. Sorry guys!
